We have decided to publish our news on our website so that you can share it more easily. Here is what we have put together for 2021.
We are stucked inside like most of you and hopefull that the situation will settle in the next weeks or months. Dreaming about the next winter and that magic japanese powder is our escape from that crazyness.
The last two seasons we have organized guided weeks in the end of February. It had great success and will happen again but we are sure people will also love the opportunity of having it earlier in the season when storms and the chance of deep snow are stronger. So the good news is that next winter we will also have one in January !
17th to 24th January 2021.
For this week, we got together with Yann, a swiss mountain guide that came already the last 4 seasons to Kodama with some of his clients. He has a great experience of the Hakuba Valley mountains, knows our best secret spots but will also bring you out for dinner and experience traditionnal Onsen and Japanese culture !

To maximise the Japow experience and discover both the amazing alpine terrain of Hakuba as well as the magic and legendary tree runs around Kodama, the guide will plan every riding day with a focus on finding untracked and fresh powder. Depending on the weather, snow conditions, safety and the group level, he will find a balance and choose the best options between doing longer hikes from the top of the lifts and riding in and around the resorts with shorter hikes.
That guided week is for a group up to 6 people with good fitness and experience riding powder.
Split boarders as well as skiers are welcome to join!
We are offering this package at the price of 278’000 JPY Minimum 4 participants / Maximum 6 participants
Including :
1 welcome drink
7 nights in shared room (2 people) with shared shower and toilets.
Possibility to upgrade to our double rooms with private shower or get your group together in a triple or quad room.
7 Breakfasts and 4 dinners at Kodama Lodge.
6 days guided by IFMGA (IUAGM) certified guide.
6 days Hakuba Valley pass
Transports with the guide during the week to the ski resorts, restaurants and onsen.
Not included :
– The transport to Kodama Lodge.
– Dinners outside of Kodama, your lunches and drinks.
– Onsen entrance fees and visits.
– Insurance covering backcountry skiing and medical care in Japan.
If needed and depending on our availability people could extend the trip for a few extra nights before or after the guided week.
