Autumn in Japan is magnificent, but even more so when the snow meets the Koyo (red foliage). These white peaks make us look forward to the winter season and the first customers with a big smile!
A little more work outside to cut the grass and rake up the fallen leaves before moving on to the snow blower!
Now comes our second season of collaboration with YES Snowboards. The radest snowboard brand created by snowboarding legends Romain De Marchi, JP Solberg and DCP.
With them, we enjoyed the opening of the new lift at the beginning of January, right next to the house. Direct access to a magical forest area on the north face… Lots of laughs and faceshots between the trees.

We’ve been riding with Giro helmets and goggles for two seasons now, and we’re delighted!
This winter, we invite you to try them out for yourself!
There’s no need to crash and tumble to get the full effect, just a few turns and faceshot guaranteed. Their combo is top-notch, with guaranteed comfort and fog-free vision.
The new lift in our Hakuba-Norikura resort gives access to an unmarked and uncontrolled backcounty area, so you’ll need to bring all the necessary equipment – helmet, backpack with shovel and probe, not forgetting of course your avalanche transceiver – and sign a waiver.
If you’re not yet used to wearing a helmet, we have a few Giro helmets and goggles available for you to try out free of charge!
